The latest in an epidemic of parents who refuse to give their children normal names (Source: Getty Images File Photo)

So Ashlee Simpson (finally) gave birth Thursday night to a 7 lb., 11 oz. baby boy. I realize how cute this sounds at first, but wait, there’s more. They named their newborn son Bronx Mowgli Wentz. Now the only cool thing I see about that is that his initials are BMW. Otherwise, Pete Wentz has really disappointed me. Say what you want to about the guy, he’s gotten where he is cause he’s smart and has good business sense. So how can you name your kid after a character from Disney’s The Jungle Book? Even Britney Spears gave her kids quasi-normal names. Minus 20 points.

To be hones, not that crazy when we have:

“Moon Unit: Frank Zappa, also father to Dweezil and Diva Muffin ”

“Pilot Inspektor: Jason Lee and Beth Riesgraf ”

and let’s not forget Track, Willow, and Bristol from Palin. Though at least she didn’t name her kids Moon Unit or Pilot Inspektor…wtf are these people smoking?

sorry, I forgot to add these celebrity names: Audio Science, Camera, Hopper, Jermajesty, Moxie CrimeFighter, and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily.

All from http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/families/article2130988.ece

I knew someone named their kid after a college course…”Audio Science”…these people are sick.
